THE LADY TRIBE STORY:

In 2017 the U.S. administration proposed cutting funds to the organization that provides care to more than 40% of the 4 million people in the federal family planning program. Julia Sisson wanted to do her part in saving Planned Parenthood because, not only is it the country’s largest abortion provider, but it also supplies a broad selection of reproductive health services to women and men.

Following the first ever women’s march in January, the inspired artist created a design of 25 women in red ink, symbolizing the determination and anger that millions of women (and men) felt when they banned together to fight for their human rights. She put together a pop up art exhibition to sell the Lady Tribe Tees, and donated 50% of sales to Planned Parenthood - raising over $1,500.
